Throughout history, those granted positions of power have argued the need
to take away individual rights for the good of the people.

We recognize the harm this action can inflict if unchecked.

We the people hold, and have always held, the core value of the individual’s right to freedom – the right of each individual to choose freely within moral and ethical boundaries supported by documents like the Canadian Bill of Rights and the supportive language in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

We must be free to choose within those boundaries without fear of reprisal or penalty. If the People cannot make these decisions without threat of expulsion from work, school or participation in civil society, there are no rights that cannot be trampled.

It is precisely when times are the most difficult that our rights must be upheld. This is the duty of our elected representatives. Coercive policy, dangerous legislation or regulations proposed and implemented, can potentially rob us of our rights and freedoms. They must be opposed and defeated.

To thrive and survive our natural and fundamental unassailable rights must be respected. (examples)

  • the right of the individual to life, liberty, security of the person and enjoyment of property, and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due lawful process.
  • the right of the individual to lawful equality and the protection.
  • freedom of religion;
  • freedom of speech;
  • freedom of assembly and association; and
  • freedom of the press.

All politicians regardless of office held, or if applicable political party affiliation, must stand and be heard when the inherent sovereign Rights and Freedoms of the People are threatened.

The People demand and deserve elected representatives that put the rights of the People first,
not internal or external dictates that set to destroy or manipulate these rights.
